NAME OF ORDER: Order of the Good Samaritan for Youth
PURPOSE OF ORDER: Members of this Holy Order care for those in need- whether it be physical, spiritual or emotions needs. Members provide care, comfort, and compassion to souls suffering from life and death emergencies, and minister to those who are psychologically burdened.
SPONSORING ASCENDED MASTERS:
El Morya
RELATED RAYS OF SERVICE: This Order is on the First Ray of the will of God, the Fifth Ray of science and healing and the Seventh Ray of freedom and alchemy.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Membership is open to all youth who meet the requirements of this Order:

1. Members are trained and hold current certification in First Aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

2. Members meet the requirement of having the spirit of the "perpetual helper" and acknowledge being the instrument of the comfort flame of the Holy Spirit that comes through the Sons and Daughters of God in embodiment.

3. Members may learn Foot Reflexology. Foot reflexology is a safe form of treatment that "can give relief to anyone."(Optional)

4. Members have the opportunity to be a ministering servant and to demonstrate love and service and care and to learn more about themselves and others.

MISSION STATEMENT AND VISION STATEMENT

  • Mission Statement: A Good Samaritan helps those in need.

  • Vision Statement: By helping those in need spiritually, physically, and emotionally, I have become the Good Samaritan. I am dedicated to God's Will that not one of His little ones should be lost. Therefore, I keep myself strong and healthy spiritually, physically and emotionally so I am ready to meet the challenges of life to be ready to help others in need. I am the Good Samaritan and I am dedicated to God's Will.

WAY OF LIFE

  • An Order based on Saint Germain's ideals when he sponsored the founding of the Boy and Girl Scouts of America. A Good Samaritan youth's motto is to "Be Prepared" for whatever comes his or her way by learning all they can. Members strive to keep strong, healthy and ready to meet the challenges of life.

  • Goals of a Good Samaritan youth are to be compassionate, trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, joyful, thrifty, brave, clean, reverent and a ministering servant dedicated to the Will of God.

  • An Order of qualified youth whose goal is to be the perpetual helper in service to the causes of the First Ray of the Will of God and the Seventh Ray of Freedom and Divine Justice.

  • The way of the Good Samaritan is to be prepared and to be on hand in emergencies of life and death.

  • Members of this Holy Order identify themselves not only as their brother's keeper, but also as the Good Samaritan at all times-
    twenty-four hours a day.

  • · Members are current in First Aid and CPR certification.

  • Decrees to Archangel Michael and El Morya. Give one call daily for a hurting soul.

  • Choose other decrees, prayers, or meditations.

PLEDGE OR VOW

· I vow to do a good turn daily.

CHARITY WORK

  • Volunteer to help life in every capacity such as serving in a soup line, visiting the elderly or helping at Humane Societies.

  • Youth members may join Boy and/or Girl Scouts.

  • Volunteer to assist leading a Boy or Girl Scout troop to set a good example.
